In case of any problems, we will send our specialists to get to you as fast as possible. They can get practical data on-site and, together with their experience, find out what caused your problem and, most importantly, help with the solution.
The technology we have developed and manufactured is mostly self-sustaining; however, it needs human supervision. We will provide your employees with comprehensive on-site training for the specific technology you will be using. This will give your staff enough knowledge to understand elementary on-device diagnostics and essential maintenance. Training should be repeated annually so that new employees learn the same information.
Scheduled on-site inspections provide comprehensive evaluation during regular production. Membrane samples are sent to the MEGA laboratory for testing to show early signs of scaling or fouling. At the end of each visit, an evaluation with recommendations is submitted.
The technology is mostly self-sustaining, checking voltage, flow rates, pH, conductivity, and other important indicators every second. If any value goes off the limits, the technology alerts our technicians in the monitoring centre, who will evaluate all the indicators and determine if it was a momentary hiccup or an indication of an upcoming, more significant issue. In the latter case, we will call you and help you solve the issue before a real problem emerges.
Your technology is fully covered during the warranty period. Initial commissioning is followed by periodical inspections to maintain the high efficiency of the process, whether it is electrodialysis, electrophoresis, or electrodeionization. After the warranty period, you can decide what your service needs are, and together, we can fully customize the proposed services contract to your needs.
Our technologies are mostly self-sustaining but require human supervision. However, there are business cases where a lean structure is a must, and we can outsource not only maintenance but also operation and supervision of our technologies. We have proven this to be a convenient solution for Iveco, one of Europe’s most prominent manufacturers of trucks and buses.
MEGA Care specialists can connect to the MEGA EWDU units installed at customers’ production facilities and obtain past and current operational data. In cooperation with our process engineers, they can evaluate the equipment performance and propose improvement measures if necessary. Also, some operational parameters can be adjusted directly from the MEGA Care control centre in the Czech Republic.
Long term trends of the equipment performance can be analyzed for customers that allow remote access to the computer data.
Members of our service team can arrive at the customer’s production site at short notice, providing that no major travel restrictions exist. However, it is advisable to have a service agreement that provides guarantees regarding response times.
After the sale of new equipment to the customer, periodical inspections are provided during the warranty period. It is a good idea to have a post-warranty service agreement to continue regular inspections.
As a part of the periodic inspections, membrane samples can be taken to the MEGA laboratory for wear and tear analyses.
Experienced operators can replace membranes and spacers in their modules, this service can also provide our technicians if required.
Some aspects of the desalination unit’s performance can be adjusted remotely based on performance analysis by our process engineers. This requires remote access.
