Sustainable governance of the MEGA Group

MEGA builds its brand on an open and responsible approach to its commitments toward all stakeholders. The company continuously improves its processes and corporate governance practices. MEGA ensures compliance with legal requirements, evaluates risks, and fosters a strong corporate culture.

The management of the companies within the MEGA Group has committed, through its Code of Ethics, to adhering to fair business practices and fostering customer and supplier relationships based on mutual respect and understanding. The company firmly condemns corruption, recognizing it as a serious issue in business competition that often leads to decisions made for non-objective reasons, hinders development and innovation, distorts fair competition, and harms the MEGA Group. MEGA emphasizes expertise, solidarity, and transparency. The companies within the Group have clear governance and control structures, with well-defined rights and responsibilities among owners, corporate bodies, employees, customers, and suppliers. MEGA maintains balanced relationships with all stakeholders.

The Code of Ethics

The trust of customers and stakeholders in MEGA and its products is one of its most valuable assets. MEGA strengthens public trust and protects its employees and the environment by acting in accordance with its Code of Ethics.

MEGA has developed and adopted a Code of Ethics that defines the basic ethical standards for the entire MEGA Group. The Code of Ethics clearly defines the general standards of employee behaviour. It applies to all employees and serves as a guide for their daily actions. This document is built on shared values, legal requirements, and internal regulations, providing orientation, guidance, and support to ensure compliance with existing rules and regulations in the workplace.

MEGA requires adherence to the rules of its Code of Ethics from its business partners and suppliers as well. Compliance with the Supplier Code of Conduct is a fundamental prerequisite for establishing business relationships. The requirements outlined in the Supplier Code of Conduct are contractually binding.

The sustainability strategy is supported by specific key performance indicators (KPIs) that enable regular monitoring and evaluation of the corporate culture at MEGA. The company's leadership actively promotes and communicates adherence to the principles outlined in the Code of Ethics.
