Employees of the MEGA Group helping people affected by floods

On September 19, 2024, the MEGA Group of Companies launched a corporate flood relief fundraiser on the Darujme.cz platform. We invite you to join us in this financial collection to support individuals affected by the floods that have significantly impacted certain regions of the Czech Republic. Contributions are welcome not only from employees but from anyone who wishes to help. Financial assistance is currently among the most needed forms of support and will be directed towards immediate and subsequent material aid, psychosocial assistance, or crisis intervention through the organization People in Need. EuroMembrane 2024 International Conference

MEGA was proud to be the general sponsor of EuroMembrane 2024, the world's most prestigious conference on membranes and membrane processes. It brought together the scientific community, industry experts and technologists to present and discuss the latest developments in membrane technology, including its evolution and new applications.

Internships at MemBrain 2024

This summer, MemBrain hosted internships for seven students. This year’s participants included students from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (UCT Prague), studying chemical engineering, hydrogen, and membrane technologies; students from the Technical University of Liberec (TUL), specializing in nanomaterials; students from Jan Evangelista Purkyně University (UJEP), focusing on chemistry and toxicology; and an international student from Algeria studying material chemistry.

Fairy Tale Adventure in Stráž pod Ralskem

On June 1, 2024, we took part in the "Fairy Tale Adventure" event in Stráž pod Ralskem, where we prepared a fairy tale-themed station for Children's Day. Kids competed in activities featuring characters from the well-known tale of Krakonoš and received sweet rewards from us. Despite the rainy weather throughout the day, a total of 180 children visited our station.

New vehicle for Social Services of Mimoň

On May 30, 2024, a ceremonial handover of a new social service vehicle took place. The car will be used to provide caregiving and mobile healthcare services for Mimoň and surrounding villages. The vehicle was funded by several dozen sponsors, including MEGA. This marks the seventh vehicle for the facility in Mimoň, which cares for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

May Health Days 2024

Health is a gift that requires care, and at MEGA, we fully recognize this. For the second year in a row, we organized the health and prevention program "May Health Days", offering our employees a variety of engaging activities centred on well-being. The program included extended consultations with health specialists, a "Bike to Work" challenge, healthy eating initiatives, first aid training, charitable projects, and many other activities. 28th annual public collection Czech Day Against Cancer

As in previous years, MEGA employees took part in the "Day Against Cancer" charity event. At the workplace in Stráž pod Ralskem, volunteers from the local children's leisure community Výři collected donations for breast cancer prevention.

The funds raised for the marigold flowers offered will go towards cancer prevention, improving the quality of life of cancer patients, and supporting cancer education, research and equipment for cancer centres. Learn more about the cancer program.
